Lauren Lopez, a Multiple Disabilities teacher in NJ said that before COVID she wasn’t sure that her students would have a need for tech literacy. “Because this year we are working remotely more than we ever have before, the program has come at a really perfect time….It has let me see that there are some other opportunities for my students to be able to have more job skills that are computer based. I didn’t really think that was a possibility in the past.”

Lauren describes the impact Digitability is having on her students during COVID and how these new tech skills will increase their transition outcomes. She is excited to launch her new Digitability Work Simulation project, which will enhance her existing school-based enterprise t-shirt business.
