March Madness Math
Objective:
Building financial routines is important to student success! This interactive March Madness activity will help students navigate the important skill of budgeting and think about their spending habits. Students will utilize budgeting skills to plan an outing to a basketball game. Through this activity, students will solve basketball theme real-world scenarios.
Directions for this Extension Activity:
In this activity, students will use their budgeting skills to plan a night at a basketball game. Students will be tasked with buying items and staying within a given budget. Using the Digitability Stadium Catalogue, students will answer questions related to the prices of items shown (tickets, snacks, and souvenirs). If you're a current Bankability customer, students can use their personal accounts.
