Digitability Curriculum Concepts: Financial Literacy, Functional Academics

Directions for this Extension Activity:
In this activity, students will work to design and write an electronic greeting card that celebrates National Give Something Away Day. Using thoughtful messages and creative digital visuals, students will reach out to others electronically via email. Students should focus on making their cards meaningful and well-designed. Once completed, students will share their card with the class and explain the message and choices behind their design.
Incorporating Bankability:
Throughout this activity, students can earn dollars for staying on task, sending a digital greeting card, presenting to the class, and helping their peers during the activity. This encourages participation, positive behavior, and peer support. Current Bankability users can integrate these earnings into their classroom economy. No Bankability account?
