Task Priority

Objective

Students will analyze job tasks to order their level of priority. Using the “Important-Urgent Matrix” students will place tasks by determining how important it is and how urgently it needs to be completed. Students can then use this strategy to help them prioritize their tasks for the Work Simulation Project.

Duration: ~15 minutes*

In this activity, students will determine if each task is first urgent or not urgent and then they will evaluate if the task is important or not important. Sorting these job tasks will help students prioritize job tasks.
