Look at This Classroom's Amazing Work!
Preparing Students for the Workforce
The Digitability Work Simulation allows students to gain hands-on work experience! Students prepare to gain meaningful employment with a resume, interview practice, and job skills. Through Bankability, students also learn about financial literacy, using money they have earned to pay bills and purchase rewards. Workplace behaviors are strengthened using the Digitability Social Economy. Student earnings are recorded in Bankability, easily tracking data. By gaining hands-on experience, practicing financial literacy, and developing work ready behaviors, students are set up for success when entering the workforce!
PHASE 1: Planning
In Phase 1, students go through the process of identifying their project idea, understanding work routines, such as daily Stand Up meetings, and applying for the job role they will have throughout their first Work Simulation. All of this sets the stage for their work in Phase 2, Getting To Work!
PHASE 2: Starting Work
In Phase 2, students are brainstorming possible barriers and collaborating to find solutions in their new roles. Each student completes their individual job training, equipped with new skills while participating in on-going performance reviews. All of this experience drives their work in Phase 3, Demo Day.
