Work Simulation Kick Off
In this activity, classes will explore past Work Simulation Competition entries to gain a better understanding of what makes an effective and engaging workplace project. Students will review each project individually or in small groups, paying close attention to features such as creativity, organization, teamwork, and presentation. They will identify specific aspects they love about each project and explain their reasoning using complete sentences. Students will then brainstorm and share ideas for additional features, improvements, or extensions that could be added to enhance the project, make it more realistic, or better reflect workplace expectations. This activity encourages collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and reflection while helping students connect classroom learning to real-world work skills.
