March Madness
In this activity, students will use their budgeting skills to plan a night at a basketball game while staying within a set spending limit. Students will be given a specific budget and a list of possible expenses, such as game tickets, concessions, and team merchandise. Students will review pricing options, compare costs (for example, different seating sections or meal choices), and determine how to allocate their money responsibly. They will calculate total expenses, track their spending, and ensure their final plan does not exceed the assigned budget.
