Scavenger Hunt Day!

Objective

Students will demonstrate their observation skills as they pay close attention to detail to spot summer items on their Summer Scavenger Hunt list. Given a summer themed scavenger hunt, students will check items off their list when they spot an item. Students will use problem solving skills to find all items on their list to earn Bankability dollars.

Directions for this Extension Activity:

In this activity, students will use critical thinking skills to find items on their Summer Scavenger Hunt list. Students will search their designated area to look for the summer related items in their hunt. Students will pay close attention to detail and think creatively as they try to find each listed item. Students will be encouraged to practice their communication skills by sharing their findings with their peers.

Duration: 25 minutes* [will vary based on students' level of need]
