Building Presentation Skills
Objective
Students will create a personalized Google Slides presentation to share information about themselves. Through this activity, they will practice organizing personal content, using visual design tools, and developing public speaking skills with confidence and clarity.
Directions for this Extension Activity:
In this activity, students will use an “All About Me” template to plan their Google Slides presentation, then personalize a digital version shared via email or Google Drive. They’ll have 20 minutes to create at least three slides, using images, backgrounds, and fonts to reflect their personality. Afterward, students will have the opportunity to present their slides to the class to practice public speaking in a fun and supportive way.
Duration: ~15 minutes* [will vary based on students' level of need]
