2016 "Make the Future" Ted Talk at The Hewitt School of New York City

Digitability Founder, Michele McKeone, M. Ed. was invited to participate in the 2016 Ted Talk series hosted at The Hewitt School in New York City given on her unique experiences as a woman in tech and her subject matter expertise on disabilities.

To support the 2016 theme "Make the Future," Michele highlighted the barriers that individuals with disabilities face when pursuing their independence, as well as their ability to persevere and go beyond those barriers.

Michele also shared her own experiences of facing and overcoming the many barriers experienced as a woman in business and tech.

Michele's biggest message in this Ted Talk was the importance of having empathy for others as we are all facing our own barriers as we work to "make the future."
