Digitability’s Work Simulation provides real-life work scenarios through which students can demonstrate the comprehensive skillset they are continually honing. Through the Level 1 Units and Lessons, students are acquiring the language of digital literacy so that they can speak fluently and confidently about various aspects of the website design process. Equally important though are the social skills, namely positive workplace behaviors and problem-solving skills, that the students have learned via the Classroom Social Economy. These dual and complementing skill sets truly prepare students to fully engage their peers in the creation of their website from scratch, working through and resolving problems or disagreements they may have.
