Why do I need to enter payroll?

When you enter each students earnings, you are logging their behavioral data and allowing them to access and manage the virtual dollars they have earned.

Here are a few things to know about processing payroll:

  • Teachers log and enter dollars earned for each day that students are present.
  • Bankability paydays are automatically processed on the 1st and 15th of every month when students will receive a direct deposit into their checking account.
  • The payroll process mirrors the real-world experience of waiting to obtain earnings on payday.
  • Yes, we do take out taxes. Students will see this on their pay stubs.
  • Students have the ability to transfer earnings from their checking into their savings, and vice versa.
