Pay Bills and Purchase Rewards
Using Bankability, students manage their checking and savings accounts, pay bills, shop, and review their finances all from their online bank account. Teachers can customize classroom bills and rewards, run payroll, and approve purchase requests all from their Bankability dashboard.
Data & IEP Progress Reports
Bankability also allows teachers to track workplace readiness progress using Digitability’s Individual Education Program (IEP) Transition Goal Bank. Assigning each dollar to a behavior will allow teachers to track that behavior overtime. Reports can be generated at the click of a button and shared with their Special Education Team.

What is Bankability and the Social Economy?
Digitability’s award-winning life skills curriculum launched its newest product Bankability, which allows students to experience a modern banking app while simultaneously learning financial literacy and positive behaviors. Bankability is implemented through scripted lesson plans that are designed using the best evidence-based practices for behavior support.
How can Bankability help your school/classroom climate?
Not only can Bankability improve student behavior in the classroom environment, but it can also be used as a school wide tool! If multiple teachers throughout a school are all using Bankability, then students are receiving consistent reinforcement across environments for positive behaviors. This can lead to greater student success. Overall, the use of Bankability will promote a school-wide culture of positive behavior using real-world skills and contingencies.
Why is Digitability offering this discounted pilot opportunity?
As an award-winning company with schools in 30 states and two countries, we are already a leader in delivering training and curriculum for special education classrooms through our life skills and work-ready curriculums.
Our newest feature, Bankability, has been gaining nation-wide attention from general education teachers. As a result, we have been inundated with requests to make it available as a stand alone product for teachers who need to find streamlined systems that manage classroom behavior, and teach real life skills.
How is Bankability different from other behavior programs?
Bankability is the first program of its kind combining real-world life skills development and classroom management. Many other programs award points or use concepts that are not age-appropriate for students. With Bankability, teachers have all the tools they need to create a successful Classroom Economy that teaches and reinforces real-world life skills.
Creating a classroom economy is made simple with Bankability. Each teacher has access to a 1-1 coach to help individualize their Social Economy to best meet the needs of their students. Your coach can help you determine what reinforces your students, and helps build your classroom economy around that.

What kind of support will my teachers receive?
Every teacher works one-on-one with a personal coach to support classroom facilitation. Coaches are proactive and teachers can also request support as often as needed! We make sure that teachers are given the tools they need to succeed and do not overwhelmed with a lot of information. We make sure that teachers feel comfortable getting started. Coaches work to empower every teacher with new technology skills, the best, evidence-based practices for supporting behavior and creating personalized classroom economies during coaching sessions.
How much time will it take to get this program started?
Bankability is easy to implement! To get started, all teachers have to do is enter the bills and rewards that are customized to their classroom. Once entered, students will be able to make purchase requests for rewards and the bills will automatically be issued to students twice a month. Once Bankability is set up, the only time commitment for teachers will be entering daily dollar amounts for students. While this will only take a few minutes, it is a job that can easily be completed by support staff members or even students!
What is the time commitment required to participate in the pilot?
Each participant will be asked to implement Bankability for a minimum of one year. During this time, teachers will agree to meet with a Digitability Implementation Coach at least once each month (but will have access to their coach at any time), to discuss their experience. Additionally, teachers will be asked to complete a short monthly survey.
Is this program evidence-based?
Yes! Multiple evidence based practices are naturally embedded in the program. Practices such as reinforcement and least to most prompting are built into Bankability, leading to successful behavior change. Plus, teachers will also have access to our Implementation Coaches that are Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
When will we need to purchase it?
We will be accepting schools on a first come, first serve basis until slots fill up. Contact us today to save your spot!
